Today we ran a lab to Identify and Unknown Solid using solubility. Solubility is a characteristic property of matter. It is a property that is the same for a substance no matter how much of that substance you are testing. Characteristic properties help us to identify a substance. Be sure to read about solubility curves in your book to help you understand our lab this week.
